CRC Donates to Local FFA Chapters

On January 3, 2018, Central Region Cooperative Board Members Larry Dean, Jason Boll, Tyler Slinden and Brian Broderius presented a donation of $3,333 each to the ACGC FFA Chapter in Grove City and BLHS FFA Chapter in Hector. Both donations were composed of $1,666.67 from Central Region Cooperative in addition to a match donation of $1,666.67 from the Cobank Sharing Success Program. The ACGC FFA Chapter, advised by Michelle Hansen, plans to use the donation to help offset the cost for its members to attend state and national convention. Jill Grams, advisor of the BLHS FFA Chapter, plans to use the donation to help pay for the cost of an upcoming woods class which gives the students an opportunity to build a farmhouse coffee table. The remainder of the donation will be used for other supplies for the agriculture department in addition to offsetting the cost of a leadership camp which many students have shown interest in. Jill Grams has been the FFA Advisor for BLHS for 3 years and has grown the chapter membership from 22 to 44 members.
