Enriching the Community of Hector

Hector, MN -- On January 3, 2018, Central Region Cooperative Board Members Larry Dean, Jason Boll, and Brian Broderius presented a donation of $10,000 to Mayor Steve Squibb of the City of Hector. The donation was composed of $6,049 from Central Region Cooperative in addition to a match donation of $3,951 from the Land ‘O Lakes Foundation. The donation is intended to purchase a new piece of children’s park equipment to be added to the pool area of the park in the northwest corner of town. The City of Hector is planning to install the new park equipment with the help of local Lion’s Club this coming spring. Central Region Cooperative recently sold the C-Store and office in Hector in October, but wants to remind the community that even though their physical presence in the city has decreased, they fully support the community and those that live and work within it.
