Hector Elevator Changes

Hector Elevator Changes
Central Region Cooperative Management recently assessed grain operations at the Hector elevator and determined the need to remove obsolete structures and list the Hector West site for sale. Due to increases in repair and maintenance costs, and limited staffing, it was determined CRC would remove certain structures while continuing to increase capacity at our shuttle loader location in Buffalo Lake, 5 miles away. WE ARE NOT CLOSING THE HECTOR LOCATION.
The assessment was presented to the CRC Board of Directors and the board approved to move forward with the sale and removal.
With the recent expansion and long-term plans at the Buffalo Lake shuttle facility it was decided to place the Hector West facility on the market. The vacant central elevator will also be demolished. The concrete bins on the South side of the tracks and all the bins on the North side of the tracks will continue to be utilized for corn and soybeans.
Thank you for your continued support and business that you award CRC.
